Venge Vineyards 'Scouts Honor' Red Blend

Venge Vineyards is located south of Calistoga, in Napa Valley. The Venge’s roots in the wine industry date back to the 1950s and is now owned by the talented winemaker, Kirk Venge. He was born in Napa Valley and like his father, Kirk graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a degree in Viticulture and Enology. He is also a highly sought after consulting winemaker, working with several premium Napa Valley based producers. This wine nicknamed ‘Scouts Honor’, is a blend of Zinfandel, Charbono, Petite Sirah and Syrah. It’s a bold firecracker, offering a juicy mix of blackberry jam, plum, boysenberry, mulberry and cassis, with generous tannins and spice.
