Valenciso was born in 1998, when Luis Valentin and Carmen Enciso joined their surnames to make a wonderful red from their homeland in La Rioja Alta. They’ve always shared a long-term vision of creating something small, with over 36 years of experience as winemakers. This powerful Rioja is a perfect blend of classic and modern, made from 100% Tempranillo. It’s juicy and hefty with a backbone of intensity. Drinking beautifully right now but could easily cellar for another few years.
