Arran Malt Machrie Moor Peated 10 Year Old

On the west coast of the Isle of Arran, lies a windswept and mystical peat bog called Machrie Moor. Bronze Age stone circles and standing stones are strewn across this wetland, that accumulates peat as a deposit of dead plant materials. The legendary warrior, giant Fingal, is said to have tethered his favourite dog Bran to one of these stones from time to time. This ten-year-old edition of Arran’s Machrie Moor introduces a smoky edge to the distillery’s excellent single malt and is matured in 1st fill ex-bourbon casks. You’ll taste a mix of baked apple, pear, flamed orange peel, nutty barley, cinnamon and smoky peat.
