Tenuta Mazzolino 'Terrazze' Pinot Noir

Located just 50 kilometres due south of Milan, you can find Mazzolino's rolling 30-hectare estate. Named for the hill the estate sits upon (Mazzo), it lies in the heart of the Oltrepo Pavese region in the province of Pavia in the northwest of Lombardy. The Braggiotti family have owned the estate since 1980 and are dedicated to making wines that express their 20 hectares of vineyard parcels. This expressive Pinot Noir offers an elegant balance of purple and blue fruit with a hint of foxy spices and balsamic, on a pretty and sensual finish.
