Tenuta Mazzolino Chardonnay

Located just 50 kilometres due south of Milan, you can find Mazzolino's rolling 30-hectare estate. Named for the hill the estate sits upon (Mazzo), it lies in the heart of the Oltrepò Pavese region in the province of Pavia in the northwest of Lombardy. The Braggiotti family have owned the estate since 1980 and are dedicated to making wines that express their 20 hectares of vineyard parcels. The nose of this wine is typical Chardonnay, with intonations of fresh butter, sweet almond, crisp apple and grapefruit all wrapped in delicate woody notes.
