Suzor 'Menefee Vineyards' Chardonnay

Honouring his French heritage, through Greg’s Grandmother’s name, Suzor was born from a desire to create wines that resonate with vivacity and authenticity. 2020 marks the first vintage of Chardonnay from the Menefee Vineyards. Menefee is an exceptional site nestled in the foothills of the coastal range. Fans of ‘Grand Cru Chablis’ will find this wine irresistible and texturally akin to that infamous style. The wine is fermented and aged in a mix of new and neutral French oak, for an extra layer of depth and creaminess. Meyer lemon, yellow plum nectar, green apple, pink grapefruit and beeswax dominate with a hint of creamy, buttered toast.
