Located in the historic town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Stratus Vineyards is dedicated and committed to wines of outstanding quality. Their ‘flagship’ wine is a blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Tannat. A ‘hidden gem’, set aside from all the rest of Niagara’s red blends with purity and lushes power. It’s loaded with black plum, blackberry, raspberry and mulberry with a hint of herbs and licorice.
The 2017 Stratus Red will age as expected of our Signature Red Assemblage but is already upfront and accessible. Winemaker's Notes
