Signatory Secret Speyside Distillery (M) 2009

Signatory Vintage is an independent bottling company, playing an important role in the whisky business. In this case, they have purchased a cask from a ‘secret’ Speyside Distillery and then carefully chosen when to bottle and release the whisky. Distilled in 2009, this single malt spent 15 years aging within a small batch of first & second fill Oloroso Sherry Casks. It’s also bottled at 48.2% abv, free from chill-filtration for their nineteenth edition. It offers a rich and juicy burst of blackberry, sweet plum, raisin, dried prune and spicy chocolate with a hint of vanilla, cinnamon and clove.
