Signatory Speyside (M) 2011

Signatory Vintage is an independent bottling company, playing an important role in the whisky business. In this case, they have purchased a cask from a ‘secret’ Speyside Distillery and then carefully chosen when to bottle and release the whisky. Distilled in 2011, this single malt spent 12 years aging within a small batch of first-fill Oloroso Sherry Casks and part of their Special Editions series. It’s also bottled at 48.2% abv, free from chill-filtration for their eighth edition. It offers a rich and juicy burst of blackberry, sweet plum, raisin, dried prune and spicy chocolate with a hint of vanilla, cinnamon and clove.
