Signatory Vintage is an independent bottling company, playing an important role in the whisky business. In this case, they have purchased a couple casks from the Linkwood Distillery and then carefully chosen when to bottle and release the whisky. Distilled in 2012, this single malt spent 11 years aging and was finished in a mix of first-fill Oloroso Sherry Casks, before bottling. This release is also part of their Vintage Un-Chillfiltered Collection. It offers a wonderfully smooth and creamy mix of dried figs, purple plum, dried cherries and citrus peel with a hint of oaky vanilla on a spicy, nutty finish.
