Shelter Point Ripple Rock Single Malt Whisky

Shelter Point Distillery is located in Campbell River on Vancouver Island and is certainly producing some very high-quality single malts. Ripple Rock single malt is aged in alligator charred virgin American oak casks and ex-bourbon barrels. Alligator charred virgin American oak casks, are barrels charred so intensely (Level 4 char) that the inside surface cracks and looks like alligator skin. It also imparts extra colour and more intense flavours of vanilla, caramel, choca and spice.
