Scherrer ‘Zinfandoodle’

A playful name for its free spirit, it is nothing short of a serious wine. Zinfandoodle is what Fred Scherrer’s teasing uncle Mario used to call Zinfandel. Fred has taken ownership of the word and uses it on this multi-vintage wine. A truly old school way of thinking and a technique not easily duplicated. It’s a loyal companion exhibiting aromas of tangy blueberry, raspberry jam and cassis that’s chewy, spicy and soulful!
