Antonio Scarpa founded his own wine trading company in 1900. At the turn of the century, Antonio and his wife shifted to opening the Scarpa winery, specialized in bottling and marketing local wines. Their goal was to produce one of the finest Barbera wines they could make, in the heart of the most suitable region. This wine is juicy and luscious, loaded with a mix of blackberry, black plum, bilberry and grape, with a hint of violets.
