Kamptal is a small, prestigious wine region located northwest of Vienna, in northern Austria. The Rabl family has been farming and growing grapes in this region for over 300 years. In 1946, they began bottling their own wine. A father and son team (Rudolf & Rudi) now runs the estate. Gruner Veltliner is the most important grape variety in Austria. It has all the freshness and crispness one may crave in a white wine, with a lovely creaminess on the finish and a hint of white pepper.
