Quinta Das Maias Tinto

Dao is one of the oldest established wine regions in Portugal with a history dating back to 1908. Red wines from the Dao should always demonstrate a certain silky texture but Maias Tinto goes the extra mile. Maias is the local name for the Weaver’s Broom plant, which surrounds the estate. This is a blend of two local varietals known as Jaen (Mencia) and Touriga Nacional. It’s a medium bodied wine made in a fresh style with plenty of crunchy fruit and soft, juicy tannins.
