From the family that owns Chateau La Nerthe, is a historic vineyard called Prieuré de Montézargues, that was originally a monastery dating from 1199. The property covers a very small area, sheltered from the strong Mistral wind by the Montagne Noire Mountain range. A key element of protection for both the vine and the grapes to fully ripen. This wine is a superb rose from the famed wine region of Tavel. It’s a blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Clairette. It showcases vibrant red berry and summer fruit flavours, making it equally refreshing and a full-flavoured treat, with more body and depth than you would normally expect from a blush.
