Pierre Meurgey Savigny-Les-Beaune 'Les Bas Liards'

Born in 1959 at the Hospices de Beaune, Pierre Meurgey comes from a long line of wine estate managers, oenologists and Burgundian wine brokers. After buying some property in 1990, he founded a trading activity under his name for Côte d'Or wines and launched the Pierre Meurgey brand for red wines in 2014. This ‘Les Bas Liards’, from the village of Savigny-Les-Beaune, represents the perfect balance of roundness, volume and power, from this remote location. It offers a graceful balance of blackberry, morello cherry and purple plum with a hint of toasted anise and violets, with an ample body. Drink between: 2024-2029
