Roland Lavantureux Petit Chablis

Starting out as bulk wine sellers, the Lavantureux family has been producing Chablis for decades. Then, Roland took over from his parents and moved to bottling under his own name. In 2010, his sons Arnaud and David, joined the family business. The fruit for this fresh and clean white, is actually sourced from some vineyards they own in Petit Chablis. Created in 1944, this is a tiny appellation sorrrounding Chablis. You’ll taste a classic mix of green apple, lemon peel, white flowers and crushed limestone, with lots of bright acidity and a quietly persistent finish.
