This small family winery creates wines full of finesse, complexity and intrigue. Their Valpolicella Ripasso is a classic blend of Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella. The term ‘Ripasso’ sounds like and, in fact, means ‘repassed’.  It refers to a process during production whereby young, fermented Valpolicella wine is left to sit with the skins of recently fermented Amarone wine. The end result is a bold and powerful wine carrying flavours of kirsch, raisin, blackberry and fresh fig with a hint of balsamic, cocoa, mint and toasted hazelnut.
