Famille Messager-Germain Bourgogne Pinot Noir

With most of the vineyard’s located in the northern Cote de Nuits, Famille Messager-Germain has quickly become one of the most exciting rising domaines in recent history. With a focus on precise, terroir-driven wines and meticulous vineyard work, the wines consistently show lots of clarity and energy. Adele Germain and Simon Messager met while studying in the town of Beaune and eventually took over 1.5 hectares of vineyards from Simon’s parents. However, they also source some fruit from tiny plots, to increase production levels and 2022 marks their first vintage. This Bourgogne (Pinot Noir) is exceptionally well crafted, showcasing bright red berries and subtle spice, with a floral lift that’s fresh and very approachable. Total production - 1842 bottles.
