Mastroberadino 'Mastro' Rosso

The Mastroberardino family has always been largely responsible for the revival and elevation of Campanian winemaking post WWII. Their efforts ignited a resurgence in quality red and white wine production, in all of Southern Italy. This red is made from a blend of Aglianico and Piedirosso, which both carry very ancient origins to this area. It’s elegant and juicy, offering notes of red berries, dried prunes, balsamic and mushroom with a hint of silky leather and funk.
