Maison Levert Freres Beaujolais-Villages

Brothers Marcel and Rene started Maison Levert Freres and it’s one of the oldest in Burgundy, with archives dating back to the beginning of the 15th century. Today, the family has 9ha of its own vineyards but they also work with farmers from all over Burgundy, whom they buy grapes from. This wine is made from 100% Gamay. It carries dried sage and leafy tea on the nose. On the palate, the wine reveals juicy plum, cherry jam and elderberry.
