Siete Misterios was founded in 2010 by brothers Julio and Eduardo Mestre with the intent of keeping traditional mezcal production at the forefront of the mezcal industry. The word Mezcal comes from Metl or Mexcalmetl, the prehispanic Nahuatl language, meaning Agave. Today, the commonly used word for Agave in Oaxaca, Mexico is Maguey (pronounced ma-gay). This beauty is incredible soft and delicate offering a mix of Mandarin orange, citrus and lavender with a slight hint of smoke.
