Kiona Columbia Valley Chenin Blanc

John Williams and Jim Holmes became fast friends after their desks were pushed together at an engineering firm in the 1960’s. Their mutual appreciation for wine led to a wild idea to plant a vineyard and start making some incredible wines. Chenin Blanc is a white grape varietal normally only found in the Loire Valley of France and South Africa. But the owners of Kiona soon found that Chenin Blanc grows exceptionally well in the Columbia Valley. This version is creamy and luscious, showcasing a mix of honeysuckle, musky tropical fruit and spice cake with a zippy acidity.
