Ken Wright 'Tyrus Evan' Pinot Gris

Tyrus Evan was launched by a very well-known Oregon winemaker in 2003. Taking the name for the project from the middle names of his two sons (Cody Tyrus and Carson Evan), Ken Wright began this project seeing an opportunity to challenge himself. With this in mind, he began working with grapes which are very different from the infamous Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, for which he is best known. This Pinot Gris carries a rich, compelling nose with lots of body on the palate. Pleasant apple, spicy melon and pear balances perfectly with lots of refreshing acidity and a hint of honey dipped flowers.
