Signatory Jura 16 Year Old Cask Strength

Signatory Vintage is an independent bottling company, playing an important role in the whisky business. In this case, they have purchased one cask from the Jura Distillery and then carefully chosen when to bottle and release the whisky. Distilled in 2009, this single malt was finished in a 1st Fill Oloroso Sherry cask. The whisky was then bottled in May 2025, totalling 16 years and part of their Cask Strength Collection. This dram is an absolute powerhouse sitting at 54.2% abv, so don’t be afraid to add a little drop of water to your glass. It offers a punch of fruity oloroso sherry notes, crisp green apple, chocolate covered cherries, purple berries and caramelised hazelnut with a hint of pistachio and warmed spices. Only 676 bottles were gifted from this single cask.
