Stephane Vedeau is an expert winemaker and vigneron. After making wine in the Languedoc for years, he came back to his roots and moved to the Rhone Valley in 2000. Some of the most power packed Syrahs’ in the world stem from the vineyards of the northern Rhone. The fruit for this explosive Syrah comes from the wine region of Saint-Joseph. Though the area covers the largest amount of land, it’s second in actual size under vine to Crozes-Hermitage, offering a similar style and prestige. This wine carries a gorgeous racy core, with intense flavours of cured meats, spicy black pepper, violets, red currant, succulent plum and dark berry.
