Hundred Suns 'Old Eight Cut' Pinot Noir

‘Hundred Suns’ is a reference point to approximately 100 days of the growing season between flowering and harvest. Grant Coulter and Renee Saint-Amour met over 16 years ago and in due course, bought a 4.5-acre property in the Willamette Valley. Before this, Grant spent many years overseeing vineyards and making wines in Oregon. Renee eventually swapped teaching high school for the cellar and taking care of the day-to-day business. This Pinot Noir stitches together pieces from unique sites across the Willamette Valley. The wine is both concentrated and elegant with a balance of black cherry, blueberry and strawberry with a hint of baking spices and tea leaf.
