Perched on a ridge overlooking the Pacific Ocean at Fort Ross, Hirsch Vineyards is the birth ground of great Pinot Noir on the extreme Sonoma Coast. David Hirsch founded the vineyard in 1980, to grow fruit and make site-specific wine. As a side note, Littorai is the longest continuous purchaser of Hirsh Vineyard fruit and Ted Lemon also bottles a luscious Pinot Noir, in honour of this amazing site. The San Andreas Fault is the flagship wine from Hirsch and the wine that represents the summation of this complex vineyard. This Pinot Noir is overflowing with fresh dark berries and wild strawberries with hints of scorched earth, savoury meats and fresh flowers. Drink between: 2023-2029
