Great Drams Craigellachie 10 Year Old PX Sherry Cask

The Great Drams is an independent bottling company, playing an important role in the whisky business. In this case, they have purchased one cask from the Craigellachie Distillery and then carefully chosen when to bottle and release the whisky. This whisky has also spent its entire maturation in a Pedro Ximenez sherry cask, for 10 years. You’ll taste a mix of red berries, cherry jam, dried raisins, bitter plum and charred toffee with a hint of mocha and sweet spice. Don’t be afraid of adding a little drop of water to this dram as well, as it’s sitting at 56% abv.
