The wine region of Touraine is a smaller sub-region of the Loire Valley within France. The area itself is more known for refreshing whites made from the Sauvignon Blanc grape. The Gibault Vineyard, now run by Chantal and Patrick Gibault, has been in the family for 3 generations. This wine expresses itself intensely with its crisp freshness and the perfect amount of richness. It carries a wonderful mix of gooseberry, white peach, grapefruit and thyme with just a hint of grassiness.
