François's father, Lieutenant Mieczyslaw Mikulski, escaped from Poland in 1939, fleeing to England. He met his future wife, a Burgundian woman working on an English army base. Over the years, François spent many summers in Burgundy, where he fell in love with the lifestyle and became determined to make his own wine one day. This White Burgundy (Chardonnay), from the village of Saint-Aubin, is spread over vineyards neighbouring Meursault and an absolute beauty. It carries a bold mix of well-integrated oak and buttery creaminess with a burst of golden apple, yellow pear and grape jelly with a hint of flinty stone and soft spices. Drink between: 2024-2027
