Stéphane Vedeau grew up in the Northern Rhône tending to his mother’s vineyards before starting his career in the Languedoc-Roussilion. A third generation winemaker, today he is the owner and winemaker of several notable Rhône properties, including La Ferme du Mont. Verdeau’s style is distinct, described by Robert Parker as “if Chambolle Musigny were made in Châteauneuf-du-Pape.”
The La Ferme du Mont ”La Truffiere” Blanc is made from a blend of 50% Grenache Blanc, 40% Viognier, and 10% Clairette. Rich and opulent in body, it expresses notes of baked apples, peach cobbler, and pie crust.
