Evesham Wood Cuvee 'J' Pinot Noir

Russ Raney founded Evesham Wood in 1986 after training with Henri Jayer in Burgundy, France. This ‘Cuvee J’ Pinot Noir is not only the apex of Pinot Noirs from Evesham Wood, but also a selection of the top six barrels from Le Puits Sec Vineyard. Named after Russ’s winemaking idol, the Burgundian legend Henri Jayer, ‘Cuvee J’ is their benchmark of quality and style, which is celebrated each vintage. It showcases a brilliant and savoury fusion of wild strawberry, purple plum, blueberry and currant, with a hint of mint, raspberry leaf, mushroom and cured meats. Only 147 cases produced.
