Eve et Michel Rey 'Sur La Roche' Pouilly-Fuisse

Eve and Michel Rey run this small domaine in the beautiful village of Vergisson, between the Roche de Vergisson and the Roche de Solutré. They do all the work in the cellar and the vineyard themselves, so they know every vine, pushing towards perfection. Pouilly-Fuisse is a tiny village in the Maconnais subregion of Burgundy, that produces only white wine. Wines from this area are considered the soul of southern Burgundy. This chardonnay carries rich flavours of apple, pineapple, grapefruit, lemon, and fresh cut flowers with a good blast of creamy oak and buttered toast.
