The Boigelot family started farming and making wine in 1918, by the great-grandfather of Eric Boigelot. During and after that time, they started to expand their vineyards around the villages of Monthelie, Meursault, Volnay and Pommard. In 1990, Eric Boigelot created his own Domaine with everything he learned from his family's ‘old school’ traditions. This white is made from the rare and hard-to-find Aligote grape. Some might say, the other white grape of Burgundy. This unique offering produces a rich and creamy white with wonderful varietal expression and lots of juicy fruit. You’ll taste a mix of freshly cut apricot, lemon rind, peach and spring blossom with a hint of wet stone, that’s both succulent and refreshingly brisk.
