Elio Altare Langhe Nebbiolo

The Nebbiolo grape is predominantly associated with its native Piedmont region and some incredible gems can certainly be found in the hills of the Langhe, where many Nebbiolo vineyards are located. The colour of this wine alone will make your head spin and send you into a wonderful trance. It also has a punch of tannins in its youth with scents of balsamic, roses and tar. A little air helps reveal wild herbs, purple cherry, black raspberry and dried prunes with a hint of leather and orange blossom.
