The Priorat wine region is located in the southwest of Spain, in the province of Tarragona. Now in its fifth generation, the Grifoll family have been cultivating vines and making wine since 1736. This wine nicknamed ‘El Gos’ is made from 100% Garnatxa Blanca (Grenache Blanc). It’s thought to have originated as a mutation of the red grape Grenache, by the change of colour in the skin. It’s bursting a mix of green plum, yellow pear and orange zest with a hint of creamy brioche.
