Dating back to 1825, Edradour (Scotland’s Little Gem) certainly has a long-lasting stronghold of handmade single malt whisky. Hidden in the very heart of Perthshire, this picturesque ‘Little Model Village’ of Edradour, is steeped in history. Distilled in April 2012, this edition of its Small Batch single malt spent a dozen years maturing in Sauternes wine casks and bottled up in June 2024. The impact of Sauternes Cask is extremely pronounced in this 12-year-old whisky, offering succulent notes of gingerbread, fresh peach, apricot and zingy orange zest intertwined with butterscotch, honeycomb and a hint of clove.
