Dona Matilde Douro Tinto

The Douro wine region of northern Portugal is the famous home of Port. It takes its name from the Douro River, which flows east to west from the Spanish border to the Atlantic Ocean. However, with a little digging some of Portugal’s most prestigious red wines can be found in this region, offering great value. This wine in particular is a blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Amarela. It carries a beautiful colour with a delightful mix of blue fruit and foxy spices.
