Domaine La Colliere Rasteau ‘Esprit D’argiles’

The history of Domaine La Colliere has always been linked to mixed farming. In 2003, a switch to winemaking took place, thanks to the acquisition of a new plot of land. This wine stems from the village of Rasteau in the Southern Rhone, which can easily be overshadowed and overlooked, due to the famous Chateauneuf-du-Pape. But if one looks close enough, wines of very high quality can easily be found. This is a classic blend of Grenache, Mourvedre and Syrah. It carries a haunting mix of raspberry jam, dark berries and plum, alongside black pepper, sage, black licorice and mint.
