The Fagot family has been located in Cote de Beaune since 1860 and their vineyards are close to some of the most prestigious in this area. Jean-Charles has both followed in his ancestor’s footsteps and paved his own path in the process. With his viticultural background, he was able to elevate the quality of his families’ grapes, by sourcing from such Burgundian icons like Alain Gros. The Chardonnay grapes for this 1er Cru ‘Hameau De Blagny’, come from an incredibly small plot that is one of the latest ripening Crus within Puligny-Montrachet. This wine offers dazzling flavours of creamy lemon custard, spicy yellow pear, green apple, grapefruit and white corn, supported by seamlessly integrated oak and just a touch of nuttiness.
