In 1967, Jacques Seysses purchased 4 hectares of vineyards in the Cote de Nuits and Domaine Dujac was born. Since then, the domain has grown to 11.5 hectares with some vineyards under long-term lease. Jacques respect for the terroir, is still on display in his viticultural practices and innovative winemaking methods. Dujac wines are more than just varietally correct – they are intimate travelogues of some of the most celebrated sites on earth. This Premier Cru, from the village of Morey-St-Denis, is an explosive and genuine expression of what to expect from this tiny vineyard. The soil here is quite lush, that is perfectly suited for a seductive Pinot Noir. It carries a perfume of black plum, pomegranate, blackberry, cherry pie and floral spice, with incredible depth and an expansive palate. Drink between: 2026-2042
