Domaine Dujac Echezeaux Grand Cru

In 1967, Jacques Seysses purchased 4 hectares of vineyards in the Cote de Nuits and Domaine Dujac was born. Since then, the domain has grown to 11.5 hectares with some vineyards under long-term lease. The luscious grapes for this beauty are deriving from the Grand Cru vineyard of Les Echezeaux, which lies southwest of the Clos de Vougeot, at the mouth of the valley. Finding wine from this area is sort of like capturing the essence of a unicorn and Domaine Dujac certainly flourishes with excitement and power, becoming an international icon. This Pinot Noir is broad, refined and succulent, bursting an explosion of wild berries, plums, exotic spices, rose petals and prune with a hint of musk, leather and mushroom. Drink between: 2027-2048
