Domaine Du Nozay Sancerre

In 1961, Domaine du Nozay took a different form with the announcement of a new expansion area within the Sancerre appellation. Armed with their will and ardor, this husband-and-wife team eventually planted their first hectare of Sauvignon Blanc in 1971. Today, their son Cyril runs the operation with boundless enthusiasm and a free-flowing intelligence. In fact, Cyril is a nephew of the legendary Aubert de Villaine of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, so perhaps that visionary spirit runs in his bloodstream. This Sauvignon Blanc has a strong, flinty core with notes of lime zest, musky melon, gooseberry and salty peach with a zippy, refreshing aftertaste.
