Damascene Syrah

Wine entrepreneur David Curl (the former owner of Chateau Gaby in Bordeaux, France) had begun discussions with winemaker Jean Smit out of South Africa. After many conversations about life and what wine should be, they both joined forces and Damascene Wines was born. This Syrah is richly elegant, offering a fusion lush red berries, that are both fresh and ripe, with a hint of spice, violets and salami.
