Damascene Cabernet Sauvignon

Wine entrepreneur David Curl (the former owner of Chateau Gaby in Bordeaux, France) had begun discussions with winemaker Jean Smit, about his involvement in Moya Meaker wines out of South Africa. After many long conversations about life and the philosophical search for what wine should be, they both collaborated together and Damascene Wines was born. The fruit for this Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from three impressively different vineyard sites. It’s perfectly elegant, bursting a mix of currant, raspberry, pomegranate and blackberry with a hint of mocha.
