The Mainente winery was founded in 1939, when Virgilio Mainente purchased the courtyard where the family is located today. The grapes for this zippy Soave (‘sway-vay’), are grown at the foot of Monte Tenda, near the medieval town of Soave. It bursts charming notes of apple, pear, peach and melon with hints of sage and white flowers.
