Chateau Rocher-Figeac Saint-Emilion

C$38.00
Availability: In stock (2)

Chateau Rocher-Figeac was created in 1880 by Monsieur Rocher, ancestor of the Tournier family who are the current owners. As the name suggests, the vineyards are located in Figeac on the west side of the famed vineyards of Saint-Emilion. This same family also owns Chateau Rocher-Bonregard in Pomerol, which we also have available for purchase. But in terms of ‘Bordeaux’ and ‘Value’, both of these wines are an excellent buy from a lesser-known producer on the Right Bank. This wine is a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. It’s soft and fleshy offering a mix of blackberry, plum and raspberry, with a hint of tobacco and leafy tea. Drink now or hold for another 6 years.
