In 1662, Chateau Meyney was a convent and is one the oldest properties of the Médoc. Superbly located on the hilltop near Gironde River, the Chateau is a wide quadrangular building that stands in the center of a vineyard, in Saint-Estéphe. Neighbouring estates include Chateau Montrose and Chateau Calon-Segur. The grapes for this beauty include a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. The wine is aged in the cellar for a period of 16 to 18 months in French Oak, of which 35% is new. It’s polished and refined offering notes of blackcurrants, blackberries, vanilla, licorice and dark chocolate with a hint of nutmeg-like spice. Drink between: 2024-2036
